How durable are vinyl stickers?
Our custom vinyl decals and stickers are ultra-durable and designed to withstand rain, sunlight, and normal wear and tear since we use 3.4 mil thick vinyl with UV-resistant inks.
Will the stickers fade over time?
Your stickers stay vibrant longer than standard prints thanks to those UV-resistant inks and quality materials we just mentioned. Just be aware that constant exposure to harsh weather or direct sunlight over several years may eventually dull the colors.
Can I use these custom vinyl stickers indoors and outdoors?
Absolutely. These stickers are weatherproof and versatile. They’re perfect for everything from laptop decals and product packaging indoors to car bumpers and shop windows outdoors. They’ll obviously last longer indoors, but can still last a really long time outside.
What CMYK mix results in a true black?
We recommend a CMYK mix of 60/40/40/100 for true black, whereas standard black is 0/0/0/100.
Can I get vinyl stickers custom-designed in Pantone colors?
We primarily print in CMYK, but our team can work with you to match Pantone colors as closely as possible. Please reach out to our design team for assistance.
What is RGB color printing?
RGB refers to colors displayed digitally (red, green, blue). Since printing uses CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black), we always recommend converting your designs to CMYK for accurate color results on your stickers. Again, this is something we can help you navigate.
Can I have multiple colors, fonts, and images on my sticker?
Yes. Printmoz never boxes you into a single design. Our full-color printing process allows you to include as many colors, fonts, and images as you like, with no extra cost for additional colors.
Are the stickers a gloss or matte finish?
Custom Stickers are a gloss material. When printed, the ink may also appear as a semi gloss finish.
Can I reposition the sticker after applying it?
No. Vinyl stickers are designed to adhere firmly, so repositioning isn’t recommended. Removing and reapplying may reduce adhesion and create air bubbles or wrinkles. Do your best to get it right the first go around.
Why does my vinyl sticker have air bubbles?
Air bubbles can happen if the surface isn’t cleaned properly before application or if it’s applied too quickly. It’s best to clean and dry the surface first, then use a squeegee to press the sticker down evenly from the center outward.
Do I get to see a digital proof before placing my order?
You can view and approve a proof of your uploaded artwork on the website. Approval means that you have checked to make sure that your artwork size matches the exact dimensions of the product you ordered, the resolution is correct for the size being printed (preferably 300 dpi for better quality) and the color mode is CMYK. The best way to be sure of quality is to check your artwork at full size (100%). Is it crisp and clear? Or is it pixilated? Once you are 100% confident that your artwork meets or exceeds these guidelines you can approve the proof and get your Custom Stickers signs printed!
What’s the ideal bleed for custom vinyl stickers?
Add a bleed of at least 0.125 inches on all sides of your design so there are no unprinted edges when the sticker is cut to size. This is a good rule of thumb whether you’re printing our custom vinyl stickers or custom die-cut stickers. If you are not ordering a special cut option, upload your file to the exact size you're ordering and our automated system will add bleed for you.
